Macbeth or Macbetto
If you come across theatre posters around the United Kingdom, and you see announcements for “The Scottish Play”, you should know that this name is a moniker (some say to keep bad luck at bay) for Shakespeare’s Macbeth – a play about the rise to power via stabbing.
Inside every one of us there is a powerful “Macbeth” mechanism. And the motor of this is envy and the possibility of getting higher and higher up the ladder. And the oil for this motor: the person near us through whom we share, cultivate and grow our envy.
Macbeth or Macbetto is a bloody ceremony of crimes and usurpations. It is a theatrical concert for piano, drum, out of tune strings, and peto, onde, si vocé diser, tambem bate un curaçao.
