V3.0. Songtales For a Public Site by Jakob Draminsky

Jakob Draminsky presents on operatic installation aN eMPTY sPACE? In its latest version 3v.0, which integrate the two previous ones and incorporates a new dimension with live voice.

The performance that will be on first in the morning and then later at 16-18:00h, will be the fixed version v1.0, made up of four stereo sets, mixing a total of 200 sound tracks over 4 CDs, and creating a strange and unique sound environment, starting out from texts related to and  organised by Peter Brook in his book,  The Empty Space, in a collage that embraces texts from Shakespeare, Maeterlinck, Artaud and Beckett, through texts by Chekov and Brecht  up to Arden.

The new version v3, will be performed at 20:00 h, in a new mix of textual collage with texts of Lorca sung live. These will be sung in Spanish by the Danish singer Christine Schott, in a live manipulation by the composer Jakob Draminsky.

After his participation in the Pocket Opera Festival in Barcelona in 1995 with “Landsoldats Dagbog”, and intense musical experiences in Denmark, Jakob Draminsky returns once more to share with us this epic abstract sound experience, on a road full of free personal interpretations.
